FPD to Host Georgia Southern One-Day Football Camp on June 22

MACON, Ga. – The First Presbyterian Day School Athletic Department and head football coach Greg Moore is pleased to announce the school will host a one-day Georgia Southern Football Camp, set for Saturday, June 22 on the school’s main campus.

With registration beginning at noon in the lobby of the Middlebrooks Athletic Center and the cost at $50 for rising juniors and seniors, players will receive instruction from one of the state’s top NCAA football programs.

Campers can expect individual strength and speed testing along with position specific drills throughout the course of the day.

“We are excited to host Coach (Jeff) Monken and his staff on our campus for this football camp,” Moore said.

Camp is expected to conclude by 5 p.m. on Saturday at George S. Johnson Stadium.

“Hopefully a bunch of guys in the middle Georgia area including our own players will take advantage of this great opportunity close to home,” Moore said.

The First Presbyterian Day School Department of Athletics strives to build the student athlete both in the playing arena and the classroom while upholding the school’s mission statement to educate and equip students to change the world for God’s glory as a member of the Georgia High School Association.
