Girls and Boys Track Team Members Selected as All-Middle Georgia

MACON, Ga. – After winning the GHSA Area 1 meet and posting high individual finishes in the GHSA Class A State Meet, the First Presbyterian Day School girls and boys track & field team has placed several members on The Macon Telegraph All-Middle Georgia team.

According to The Telegraph, team members were decided by the highest overall finish at the state meet, with honorable mentions given to the next five best marks/times set at either region, sectional or state meets.

On the boys team, Christian Moore earned an honorable mention for his finish in the 110m hurdles while Josh Miller and Joseph Watwood each gained an honorable mention spot in the pole vault.

The FPD girls track & field team also had numerous accomplishments.

Grace Tinkey picked up her sixth All-Middle Georgia award, taking the top spot for the 1600m and 3200m run.

Jessica Smith, Danielle Ferro and Maggie Johnston finished with honorable mentions in various events, respectively.
