FPD Releases Sports Media Guide for 2013-14 School Year

MACON, Ga.- The First Presbyterian Day School Communications and Athletic Department now have a detailed and updated document for athletic records: a sports media guide.

Sponsored by multiple local advertisers and designed by Director of Communications Cal Powell, the 24-page booklet allows fans of Viking athletics to reminisce on past achievements while upholding a standard for excellence moving into the future.

“The FPD athletic program is an integral part of the school’s mission to educate and equip students to change the world for God’s glory, and Viking Nation has long celebrated its rich history of success,” Powell said.

The media guide will be updated at the completion of each school year.

Fans, former athletes and school family are encouraged to send suggestions and comments on any records known for future publications.

“We hope this media guide will help give Viking fans an insight into some of the many wonderful people and moments associated with the FPD athletic program, and we look forward to adding many more pages in the coming years,” Powell said.
