Football Stays at No. 14 in Power Ratings

MACON, Ga. – The First Presbyterian Day School football team (5-3, 4-1 Reg. 7A) is ranked no. 14 in the latest Class-A Private Power Ratings, released Tuesday, Oct. 29 by the GHSA office.

The rankings are used at the end of the regular season in Class-A to determine state playoff qualifiers, with the top-16 teams from public and private schools advancing to the tournament.

FPD has an overall ranking of 10.64 after a thrilling 41-40 region win last week at Wilkinson County.

The Vikings return to action on Friday, Nov. 1, taking on the Warren County Screaming Devils on Senior Night. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. at George S. Johnson Memorial Stadium.

FPD won at Warren County last season, a 45-8 victory, respectively.
