Football Up to No. 14 in Power Ratings

MACON, Ga. – The First Presbyterian Day School football team (4-3, 3-1 Reg. 7A) has moved up nine spots to no. 14 in the seventh Power Rating Poll, released Tuesday, Oct. 22 by the GHSA office.

The rankings are used at the end of the regular season in Class-A to determine state playoff qualifiers, with the top-16 teams from public and private schools advancing to the tournament.

FPD has an overall ranking of 10.38 after a 41-8 region win last week vs. Hancock Central on Homecoming.

The Vikings return to play on Friday, Oct. 25, traveling to Wilkinson County for a Region-7A game at 7:30 p.m.
