Cross Country Teams Race to Finish at Great American

CARY, N.C. – The First Presbyterian Day School girls and boys cross country teams raced  at the Great American Cross Country Festival on Saturday, Oct. 5, with the girls taking 10th and the boys placing 14th overall.

In the girls meet, the Lady Vikings were paced by Jessica Smith in 13th place with a time of 19:58. Savannah Phillips finished in 40th overall at 20:44 while Katie O’Quinn was 84th at 21:59.

The boys race saw the Vikings take a 14th place finish.

Will Martin continued his stellar season with a time of 16:57 in 12th place. Paul Young crossed the line at 18:01 and Bryce Little finished at 18:43, respectively.

The cross country teams return to the course on Saturday, Oct. 13, traveling to Orlando for the Walt Disney World Classic.
