Girls Basketball at no. 20 in GHSA Power Ratings

MACON, Ga. – The first edition of the GHSA Class-A Private School girls basketball power rankings were released on Tuesday, Jan. 7 with FPD garnering a spot at no. 20.

The rankings are used throughout the season to determine the top-16 teams in both Class-A Private and Public, with those schools advancing to the GHSA State Tournament.

The Lady Vikings (5-4) earned a ranking of 4.67 and are just one point out of a spot in the top-16.

Rankings will be released every Tuesday for the rest of the 2013-14 season.

The Lady Vikings return to action on Friday, Jan. 10, traveling to play at Houston County at 6 p.m., followed by a game on Saturday at Perry High School at 4 p.m.
