Girls Basketball Stays at No. 17 in Power Rankings

MACON, Ga. – The fifth edition of the GHSA Class-A Private School girls basketball power rankings were released on Wednesday, February 5, with FPD securing a spot at no. 17 overall.

The rankings are used throughout the season to determine the top-16 teams in both Class-A Private and Public, with those schools advancing to the GHSA State Tournament.

The Lady Vikings (14-7, 6-2 Reg. 7) stayed the same as last week’s rating after wins over Landmark and Twiggs County coupled with a loss to Wilkinson County.

Altogether, FPD accumulated 7.78 points and remains less than a point out of a spot in the top-16.

Rankings will be released every Tuesday for the remaining duration of the 2013-14 season.
