Girls Soccer #1, Boys #4 in EurosportScoreboard Poll

MACON, Ga. – The FPD girls and boys soccer teams have been recognized in the Class-A Poll, updated Monday, March 24, 2014.

In the girls poll, the Lady Vikings stand alone as the top squad in the state in Class-A.

FPD has the best record of all Class-A schools, undefeated at 11-0. Second place belongs to Hebron Christian Academy.

On the boys side of the poll, the Vikings find themselves at fourth in the rankings.

The Vikings are off to a fast start this season at 8-2-1. Standing ahead of FPD is Atlanta International School, Hebron Christian and Paideia.

The Lady Vikings most recently defeated Our Lady of Mercy 4-1 on Saturday, while the boys dropped a 2-1 decision in overtime.

The soccer teams return to the pitch on Thursday, March 27, hosting Mary Persons High School. Kickoff for the girls game is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. with the boys to follow at 7:30 p.m.
