Baseball Alters Schedule for Week of April 7

MACON, Ga. – The FPD baseball team and head coach Jim Turner have been forced to adjust its schedule due to multiple region rainouts, announced Monday night, April 7.

The Vikings have pushed back its scheduled region match at GMC a day to April 9, with first pitch coming at 5 p.m. in Milledgeville.

The postponement also forces FPD to cancel its game against Southwest at Luther Williams that was scheduled for the same day.

FPD has also canceled its contest at Westside on Thursday, April 10. The Vikings will now travel to Jeffersonville to play region opponent Twigs County at 4:30 p.m.

The Vikings are 9-5 this season and are winners of four straight. FPD stands at 6-1 in Region-7, good for a tie for first with Aquinas.
