Baseball Up, T-14 in GHSA Power Ratings

MACON, Ga. – The latest edition of the GHSA Class-A baseball power ratings were released on Tuesday, April 8, with FPD securing a spot at T-14.

The rankings are used throughout the season to determine the Top-16 teams in both Class-A Private and Public, with those schools advancing to the GHSA State Tournament.

The Vikings (9-5) are tied with Whitefield Academy (8-7) with 7.98 points. First place belongs to Eagles Landing Christian (18-1).

Rankings will be released every Tuesday for the remaining duration of the 2014 season.

The Vikings return to the diamond for two region games this week, traveling to GMC Prep on Wednesday, April 9 at 5 p.m. followed by a trip to Jeffersonville, taking on Twiggs County at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 10.
