Boys Soccer Nets Six on All-Middle Georgia Team

MACON, Ga. – The Macon Telegraph released its All-Middle Georgia Boys Soccer Team on Sunday, May 8, with six Vikings making the squad.

First team honors went to senior Bradley Mullis and junior Kevin Griggs.

Mullis was key in FPD’s offensive attack in the 2014 campaign, netting 18 goals while Griggs punched in 16 goals with nine assists albeit suffering a season-ending injury in the first round of the state playoffs.

Defender Nicholas Farmer was named to the second team, propelling the Vikings to five shutouts on the year and aiding a defense that held opponents to one goal or less in nine matches.

Rounding out the All-Middle Georgia Boys Soccer team is forward Christian Moore, keeper Matthew Feagin and midfielder Cole Morton.

The Vikings (12-5-1) advanced to the second round of the GHSA Class-A State Playoffs, defeating Athens Academy 4-2 in the first round. FPD also finished as the Area-2 Runner-Up for the second consecutive season.
