Softball at No. 3 in First GHSA Class-A Power Ratings

THOMASTON, Ga. – The Georgia High School Association (GHSA) released the first edition of the Class-A Private Power Ratings on Tuesday, Sept. 9 with the FPD Lady Vikings ranking at third overall in the polls.

The ratings are used to determine the top-16 teams from Class-A public and private. At season’s end, those teams advance to the GHSA State Playoffs.

The Lady Vikings (10-5, 4-0 Reg. 7) are first in region play and have won seven straight games entering Tuesday. FPD ranked in with 8.96 points and remains just over two points off the top spot held by Eagles Landing Christian.
