Football Remains at No. 12 in Oct. 28 GHSA Class-A Power Ratings

THOMASTON, Ga. – The Georgia High School Association (GHSA) released the eighth edition of the Class-A Private Football Power Ratings on Tuesday, Oct. 28 with the FPD Vikings grabbing a spot at twelfth place overall.

The ratings are used to determine the Top-16 teams from Class-A Public and Private on a weekly basis. At season’s end, those teams qualify for the GHSA Class-A State Playoffs.

FPD (5-3, 2-2 A-Reg. 7-A) ranks in with 11.89 points with wins over Howard, Monticello, GMC Prep, Mt. de Sales and Wilkinson County. Calvary Day School leads the list with 15.04 points followed by Aquinas at 14.40.

According to the polls, the Vikings stayed at the same position after last week’s 41-32 sub-region victory over Wilkinson County at home on Oct. 24 on Senior Night.
