Football Stays at No. 12 in Oct. 21 GHSA Class-A Power Ratings

THOMASTON, Ga. – The Georgia High School Association (GHSA) released the seventh edition of the Class-A Private Football Power Ratings on Tuesday, Oct. 21 with the FPD Vikings grabbing a spot at twelfth place overall.

The ratings are used to determine the Top-16 teams from Class-A Public and Private on a weekly basis. At season’s end, those teams advance to the GHSA Class-A State Playoffs.

FPD (4-3, 1-2 A Reg. 7-A) ranks in with 11.13 points with wins over Howard, Monticello, GMC Prep and Mt. de Sales. Aquinas leads the list with 14.99 points.

According to the polls, the Vikings stayed at the same position after last week’s 28-14 sub-region loss at Tattnall Square Academy.
