Football to No. 14 in Oct. 7 GHSA Power Ratings

THOMASTON, Ga. – The Georgia High School Association (GHSA) released the fifth edition of the Class-A Private Football Power Ratings on Tuesday, Oct. 7 with the FPD Vikings grabbing a spot at fourteenth overall.

The ratings are used to determine the Top-16 teams from Class-A Public and Private on a weekly basis. At season’s end, those teams advance to the GHSA State Playoffs.

FPD (3-2, 0-1) ranks in with 11.90 points with wins over Howard, Monticello and GMC Prep to begin the season. Aquinas leads the list with 15.39 points.

According to the polls, the Vikings dropped six spots after last week’s 28-21 loss to Stratford.
