Volleyball Takes Road Match at Mary Persons 2-0

FORSYTH, Ga. – The FPD volleyball pushed its season record back to .500, defeating the Mary Persons Bulldogs in two sets 2-0 [25-21, 25-19] on Wednesday night.

The Lady Vikings (17-17) are now back to .500 for the first time this season.

Sophomore Kate Patterson finished the match with three aces and two kills and Madison Busbee dropped in two kills as well to lead FPD to its third consecutive win.

The Lady Vikings will return to the court on Tuesday night, Oct. 7, hosting Senior Night 2014 against West Laurens and Upson Lee. The first match begins at 5 p.m.

FPD will honor its four seniors – Tesch Jerles, Madison Busbee, Alisha Napier and Mikayla Mobley – at some point during the course of the night.
