School Set for #VikingSendoff for Football Team on Nov. 21

MACON, Ga. – The FPD football team will travel to Prince Avenue for the first round of the GHSA Class-A State Playoffs on Friday, Nov. 21, and the school has planned a special send-off event for the squad upon its departure from campus.

Students, faculty, staff, and parents are all encouraged to line the sides of the road in front of the Clark Fine Arts Building on campus beginning at 1 p.m. on Friday.

The bus will depart at approximately 1:20 p.m. to Athens.

Fans are also encouraged to bring signs and cheer loud for the Vikings.

The Vikings finished the season at 7-3 and will be the no. 13 seed in the Class-A Private Tournament. The Prince Avenue Wolverines captured the Region 8-A Championship with an 8-2 record, securing a spot as the no. 4 seed.
