Lady Vikings Kick Off 2015 With 3-1 Win Over Northside

MACON, Ga. – Sophomore Emma Lako netted two first-half goals and senior Brooke Wylie added an insurance score in the second period as the FPD Lady Vikings (1-0) defeated the Northside Lady Eagles 3-1 at the FPD Soccer Complex on Wednesday night, Feb. 18, to open the 2015 season.

The Lady Vikings out-shot the Lady Eagles 16-3 en route to the victory.

Maggie Johnston picked up an assist as well for FPD. Keeper Caylee Ann Sutton notched two saves.

The Lady Eagles struck for their lone goal in the second period from Rebekah Patterson.

The Lady Vikings return to the pitch on Tuesday night, Feb. 24, traveling to Jones County for a non-region match at 7 p.m.
