Vikings Fight to 1-1 Draw with Tift County

MACON, Ga. – The FPD boys soccer team (3-1-1) fought to a 1-1 draw with the Tift County Blue Devils on Friday night, Feb. 27, in non-region action at the FPD Soccer Complex.

Spencer Ennis put the Vikings ahead 1-0 with a goal off an assist from kevin Griggs in the second period.

But the Blue Devils answered right back with a goal from Damian Terrazas. The match would end at 1-1.

The Blue Devils out-shot the Vikings by a slim 11-10 on the night.

FPD keeper Dontez Johnson picked up five saves while Tift’s Adrian Bustamante had three saves.

The Vikings have a week off before returning to play against Northside (Warner Robins) on Monday, March 9.

Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m. in the International City.
