Baseball Jumps to Number Two in Second GHSA Class-A Power Ratings

MACON, Ga. – The Georgia High School Association (GHSA) released the second edition of the Class-A Private Baseball Power Ratings on Tuesday, March 24, with the FPD Vikings (10-2, 4-2 Reg. 7-A) grabbing a spot at no. 2 overall.

The ratings are updated on a weekly basis and used at the end of the season to determine state playoff pairings. The Top-16 teams in the rankings advance to the postseason.

FPD, who was ranked no. 4 a week ago, totaled 9.17 points in the ratings.

The Vikings are back in action on Tuesday, March 24, traveling to Mount de Sales Academy for a Region-7A contest at 7 p.m.

FPD closes out play this week with a home match against Tattnall Square Academy on Thursday, March 26 at 7 p.m.
