Carson Dingler Ranked No. 1 in U.S. Track & Field Pole Vault

MACON, Ga. – According to the official MileSplit United States Outdoor Track and Field Pole Vault Rankings, FPD sophomore Carson Dingler is ranked first overall.

Dingler set a new national record for 15-year-olds on Saturday, Feb. 28, at the 8th Annual Ross Invitational at Griffin High School with a vault of 13’6. The mark was also good for a new state record.

She is currently ranked ahead of vaulters from Texas, California and Florida.

Dingler and the FPD track and field teams return to action on Wednesday, March 4 at Stratford Academy.
