Softball Parent Meeting Set for Thursday, March 26

MACON, Ga. – FPD head softball coach Jim Turner has announced that a rising 9th-12th grade parent meeting is set for Thursday, March 26 at 6:30 p.m. in the High School Lecture Hall.

The meeting will highlight the 2015 summer schedule as well as the new GHSA rule which allows tryouts during the month of May.

“Parent meetings signify that our season is almost here,” Turner said. “Our ladies are excited to get going again and our coaching staff is looking forward to another fun-filled year. We want to inform parents about necessary procedures to make the upcoming season the best it can be.”

The Lady Vikings finished  2014 at 26-9 and took third place for a second consecutive year at the GHSA Class-A State Tournament.
