Baseball at No. 7 in April 21 GHSA Power Ratings

MACON, Ga. – The Georgia High School Association (GHSA) released the sixth edition of the Class-A Private Baseball Power Ratings on Tuesday, April 21, with the FPD Vikings (16-3, 8-3 Reg. 7-A) grabbing a spot at no. 4 overall.

The ratings are updated on a weekly basis and used at the end of the season to determine state playoff pairings. The Top-16 teams in the rankings advance to the postseason.

FPD, who was ranked no. 3 a week ago, totaled 12.56 points in the ratings after going 2-0 last week with victories over Aquinas and Lincoln County

The Vikings are back in action on Wednesday, April 22 hosting Stratford Academy in a Region-7A contest at 6 p.m. at Ben Harden Memorial Field.

FPD closes out the regular season a day later at Mary Persons at 5:45 p.m.
