Baseball Draws Hebron Christian in First Round of GHSA State Tournament

MACON, Ga. – The GHSA released its 2015 Class-A Private State Baseball Tournament Bracket on Wednesday afternoon, with the FPD Vikings (17-4) claiming the no. 7 seed and guaranteeing a first-round home series against the no. 10-seeded Hebron Christian Lions (16-8).

The best-of-three game series will begin on Friday, May 1 at Ben Harden Memorial Field with Game 1 at 4 p.m. and Game 2 at 6:30 p.m.

Game 3, if necessary, will be played Saturday, May 2 at 1 p.m.

“We’re excited about the opportunity to host a first round series,” FPD head coach Denny Bryant said. “Our guys have had a great season so far and we are ready to get things going in the playoffs.”

Admission is $7 per day of the tournament, according to the GHSA website. Only GHSA Coaching Passes and proper media credentials will be recognized at the gate.
