Football T-14 in Fourth GHSA Class-A Private Power Ratings of 2015

THOMASTON, Ga. – The Georgia High School Association (GHSA) released the fourth edition of the Class-A Private Football Power Ratings on Tuesday, Sept. 29 with the Vikings (2-2) tying at no. 14 with Stratford Academy (2-2).

The ratings are used to determine the Top-16 teams from Class-A Public and Private. At season’s end, those teams advance to the GHSA State Playoffs.

FPD ranks in with 10.13 points after falling to no. 10 Lincoln County 14-0 at home last Friday, Sept. 25.

The Vikings return to play on Friday, Oct. 2, traveling less than three miles from campus to play its biggest rival in the Stratford Academy Eagles.

Kickoff is slated for 7:30 p.m. at Stratford.

Friday’s game marks the second time both football programs have met since joining the GHSA (the Vikings joined in 2010 and the Eagles in 2014).

The all-time series stands at 19-19-1 between the two schools.
