Johnson, McCallum and Brooks Named Football’s Week 2 “Practice Players of the Week”

MACON, Ga. – FPD head football coach Greg Moore announced today, Sept. 9, that three members of the varsity football team have been named “Practice Players of the Week” for Week 2 of the 2015 season: senior Dontrez Johnson and sophomores Jordan McCallum and Jarred Brooks.

The award, given weekly by the FPD football coaching staff, acknowledges players who exhibit hard work, teamwork and attention to practice details.

“All three of these guys distinguished themselves by way of their consistent hard work and effort during last week’s drills and group work,” Moore said.

Moore said the awards will still be announced every Wednesday for the remainder of the 2015 campaign.

“I’m proud of all three guys. Each one plays a different position, so their impact goes a long way in helping our entire team get better,” Moore said.

All three players were rewarded with a special lunch on Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 9.
