MACON, Ga. – FPD head football coach Greg Moore announced today, Sept. 30, that three members of the varsity football team have been named “Practice Players of the Week” for Week 5 of the 2015 season: sophomores Ja’Cobe Singletary, Seth Wilson and John Lester,

The award, given weekly by the FPD football coaching staff, acknowledges players who exhibit hard work, teamwork and attention to practice details.

“All three of these guys put together some great practices, worked very hard, made our team better, and that’s what we’re looking for as a staff,” Moore said.

Moore said the awards will be announced every week for the remainder of the 2015 campaign.

“I’m proud of all three of them. Each one plays a different position, so their impact goes a long way in helping our entire team get better,” Moore said.

All three players were rewarded with a special lunch on Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 30.
