FPD Basketball Information: 2016 GHSA Class-A Private State Tournament

MACON, Ga. – On Wednesday, Feb. 17, the FPD Lady Vikings and Vikings earned a bid to the GHSA Class-A Private State Tournament, announced by the GHSA office.

For the Lady Vikings, this marks the first time since 2014 and third time overall making an appearance in the 16-team tourney. FPD fell to Savannah Country Day in 2OT of that season.

For the Vikings, the 2015-16 marks the first time in program history in the GHSA era making the Class-A Private State Tournament.

Both games will take place on Saturday, Feb. 20. and both teams are the no. 16 seed in the tourney.
