Boys Soccer Drops Area-2 Match to Stratford at Home 8-0

MACON, Ga. – The FPD varsity boys soccer team (5-4-2, 1-2 Area-2) dropped its Area-2 match to the Stratford Academy Eagles (7-3, 3-0 Area-2) 8-0 on Thursday night, March 24 at the FPD Soccer Complex.

The Vikings got off to a slow start thanks to the offensive outburst of Stratford Custis Donner.

Donner had a hat trick (three goals) in the first half and the Eagles went into the locker room leading 3-0.

In the second period,  Donner added another goal, his fourth of the match, while Zane Holliman scored three times and George Lakovidis added one.

The Eagles controlled the temp, out-shooting the Vikings 35-0 on the night.

FPD keeper Dontrez Johnson picked up 11 saves in the losing bid.

The Vikings return to the pitch after the Spring Break Holiday on Tuesday, April 5, hosting Valwood. The opening kick is set for 5 p.m.
