Dick Frame Track Complex Renovation Celebration Set for March 12

MACON, Ga. – FPD is celebrating the renovation completion of the Dick Frame Track & Field Complex on Saturday, March 12 with a special Renovation Celebration during the Invitational Dick Frame Track & Field Meet.

The complex was dedicated to Frame on May 22, 2014. Over the course of the last few months, final finishes have been made to its renovation.

Friends and family are invited to honor Coach Frame and spend time with him in fellowship at the Wilson-Anderson Pavilion adjacent to the track from 11 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Frame, who is battling Lou Gherigs Disease, has been serving as a volunteer track coach at FPD for the past 38 years. During that span he has coached over 20 GISA and GHSA State Champions in hurdles.

With Frame’s assistance, FPD’s girls have won six state titles spanning from 2003-2010. The boys squad has also captured four state championships during that same period.

The First Presbyterian Day School Department of Athletics strives to build the student athlete both in the playing arena and the classroom while upholding the school’s mission statement to educate and equip students to change the world for God’s glory.
