FPD to Broadcast Region 7 Softball Game vs. Tattnall on Sept. 22

MACON, Ga. – The FPD varsity softball team (19-3, 6-0 Reg. 7A) will host cross-town rival Tattnall Square Academy (16-4, 5-1 Reg. 7-A) in GHSA Class-A Private Region 7 action on Thursday night at the FPD Softball Complex.

FPD is pleased to announce that it will audiocast the contest, starting with pre-game coverage at 5:40 p.m. followed by first pitch at 5:55 p.m.

The game has major implications, as both squads are ranked high in the GHSA Class-A Private Softball Power Ratings.

FPD is no. 1 while Tattnall Square is no. 3 in the GHSA ratings.

Both schools hold that same ranking in the SCORE Atlanta Poll and the AJC Poll.

Chandler Lee, “The Voice of the Vikings,” will have the call on the Viking Sports Radio Network.

FPD defeated Tattnall Square earlier this season 2-1 on Sept. 8 on the road.
