Girls Cross Country 3rd, Boys 7th at Stratford Invitational

MACON, Ga. – The FPD varsity girls and boys cross country teams took to the course on Tuesday afternoon, competing at the Stratford Invitational, hosted by Stratford Academy.

In the girls meet, the Lady Vikings placed third overall out of nine teams.

Mary Jayne Bonfim took third place individually, clocking in at 24:46. Right behind Bonfim was Kate Patterson, who placed fourth place at 25:02.

In the boys meet, the young Vikings placed seventh out of 15 squads.

FPD’s top two runners were Jack Hardy (21:09) and Camden Lashley (21:14).

The FPD varsity cross country squads are back in action on Tuesday, Sept. 13, running in the Warner Robins High School Invitational in Warner Robins, GA.

Races will begin at 5:20 p.m.
