Softball Announces GHSA Class-A Region 7 Tournament Semifinal Details

MACON, Ga. – The FPD varsity softball program and head coach Kristy Alvarez are pleased to announce that FPD will host the semifinal round of the GHSA Class-A Region 7 Tournament on Wednesday, Oct. 5, with two games scheduled at the FPD Softball Complex.

Game one will feature the GMC Prep Lady Bulldogs, the no. 1 seed from east division, against the Tattnall Square Academy Lady Trojans, the no. 2 seed from the west division. First pitch is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.

The nightcap will be the FPD Lady Vikings, the no. 1 seed from west, taking on the  Stratford Academy Eaglettes, the no. 3 seed in the west at 6:30 p.m.

Admission is $5 for first grade and up as sanctioned by the GHSA.

Only valid GHSA coaching passes and media credentials will be allowed for entry.
