Severe Weather Postpones Basketball vs. Westside for Jan. 21

MACON, Ga. – Due to severe weather in the central Georgia area foretasted throughout much of the weekend, the FPD basketball program has postponed Saturday’s games against Westside High School.

The FPD Athletic Department made the decision at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday due to safety concerns for all involved.

“It’s important that we keep all of our families and fans safe in this situation,” FPD Athletic Director Greg Moore said.

A make-up date will be announced at a later time once confirmed by the coaches.

The Lady Vikings and Vikings return to action on Tuesday, Jan. 24, traveling to arch-rival Stratford Academy for Region 7 games at 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at Grady Smith Gymnasium.
