FPD Swimming Preview: GHSA State Meet

MACON, Ga. – Several members of the FPD varsity swimming team will compete at the GHSA State Meet at the Georgia Tech Aquatic Center in Atlanta on Friday, Feb. 3.

FPD will send Vivianna Chang back to the State Meet for a second consecutive year.

Chang will compete in the 100 Freestyle and the 100 Back Stroke.

FPD will also send a girls and boys relay team to state for the first time in the program’s GHSA era.

In the girls 200 Freestyle Relay, the Lady Vikings will compete with Lindsay Strickland, Sophie Seneker, Madelyn Baltz and Chang. Olivia Bogges will serve as an alternate as well.

In the boys 200 Freestyle Relay, the Vikings send Alex Bercik, Dane Wiggins, Austin Murray and Hanny Marone. William Dasher and Mac Willingham will be alternates for FPD.
