MACON, Ga. – The FPD varsity girls basketball team (17-5, 9-2 Reg. 7, 1A) took down the GMC Prep Lady Bulldogs (15-8, 13-6 Reg. 7, 1A) in the first round of the GHSA Class-A Region-7 Tournament at The Grady Smith Gymnasium at Stratford Academy on Tuesday night, Feb. 7.

FPD jumped out to an early 17-9 lead at the end of the first quarter and led 25-11 at halftime.
