Viking Soccer League

For boys & girls in grades 3K – 6th Grade

The Viking Soccer League is a recreational intramural soccer league for boys and girls. All games are played on small fields and co-team of 5-8 players. Teams are formed based on our knowledge of players, as well as rankings provided by parents. Current FPD varsity soccer players coach all VSL teams and serve as referees for most of the games.

There are short practice sessions held before each scheduled game. The full schedule of games will be available before the first games begin. Games last approximately one hour and are scheduled to begin on Thursday, September 24.  1st – 6th grade divisions play with a “rotating roster”, meaning all players are able to play with all other players in the league. Younger divisions have set teams. All participants in the league will receive a complete soccer uniform, which includes a jersey (2 for rotating rosters), shorts and socks. Players must have shin-guards and cleats are highly recommended. These non-uniform items are not provided by the league.

Updated 2020 season information, schedules, and ALL updates will be posted at Further information regarding the league can also be found there.
